Language levels — from "ciao" to nearly Italian.
We teach the full CEFR range — from absolute beginner all the way to mastery — broken into careful sub-levels so that your progression is always documented and your placement is always right for you. Absolute beginners (A1.1) start on fixed cohort dates throughout the year; from A2 to C2 you can normally enrol on any Monday.

A1 — Beginner
A1.1 → A1.2. From zero Italian to basic everyday survival: greetings, ordering, asking for directions, present tense, simple sentence structures.
A2 — Elementary
A2.1 → A2.2. Functional Italian for daily life: past and future tenses, telling stories, navigating bureaucracy, making appointments.
B1 — Intermediate
B1.1 → B1.2. Independent user. Conditional, subjunctive introduced. The B1 threshold required for Italian citizenship (CILS B1) sits here.
B2 — Upper-intermediate
B2.1 → B2.2. Fluent enough for university coursework, professional meetings, complex written tasks. The level most CILS-B2 candidates target.
C1 — Advanced
C1.1 → C1.2. Effective operational Italian. Required for many specialist professional registrations.
C2 — Mastery
C2.1 → C2.2 (and our extension C2.2 B). Near-native command. Literary register, academic Italian, advanced legal and technical vocabulary.
