LIGHT · GROUP COURSE

Light. Group course, 10 academic hours per week.

Ready to learn how to speak, read, write and listen like an Italian? There's a class just waiting for you to begin.

We want your stay in Italy to be bellissima. By enrolling in our group course, we will help you develop the four communication skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking — so that you can express yourself fluidly with simple language. We have flexible study programs, designed for all levels: you can choose to follow a 20 academic hour program each week (Standard) or, if you have less time, only 10 academic hours (Light). Once you have decided on your study program, we will check your level with a test and place you in the most suitable group.

If you choose the LIGHT course: you will be followed by one teacher who will help you learn Italian quickly. Every four weeks you will put yourself to the test with an exam to check if you are ready to move on to the next language level. With a course lasting 16 weeks or more you will be able to apply for a visa for Italy.

How the format works

Lessons

The lessons run from Monday to Friday. Every lesson is composed of 2 academic hours lasting 45 minutes each, for a total of 90 minutes.
Study option LIGHT: 10 academic hours per week (1 lesson per day).

One teacher

One instructor follows you for the entire Light course. Standard students are followed by 2 teachers; Light students are followed by 1.

Classes

Every class is composed of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 students, all of whom share the same language level as you. Currently active levels: from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C2).

Visa eligibility

With a course lasting 16 weeks or more, Light is study-visa eligible — the same threshold as Standard.

Daily schedule

Light students take one 90-minute block per day, Monday to Friday — either morning or afternoon. Schedule is assigned at enrolment based on level group and capacity.

Who Light is for

Light is right for you if you have a job, you are managing childcare, you are on a tight budget, or you want to combine Italian lessons with other activities in Italy (an internship, art classes, exploring the city). Same group, same six levels, same accreditation — half the daily classroom time, lower cost. With a course of 16 weeks or more, Light is fully study-visa eligible.

If you want the highest in-class hour count and the fastest progression, choose Standard (20 academic hours/week, two teachers).
